We loved our stay at Huaya Camp. The glamping experience was so nice, the outdoor shower was amazing and we slept really well. The place is so well kept and surrounded by beautiful plants. We also did the temazcal at Huaya, which was an amazing experience. Eduardo was so kind and helpful, giving us lots of great tips. The location was also ideal, close to Veleta and Tulum Town, as well as the road to the beach. Highly recommend. Gracias!

We had a lovely 4 night stay at this unique "hotel" in Tulum town. The staff was very friendly and we loved their dogs! The yurt was clean and spacious and has A/C which kept us nice and cool at night. My favorite part was our private outdoor shower! Amazing water pressure and nothing like taking a shower enveloped in soft breezes and sunshine. A word of caution to the light sleepers out there; there is some noise from the nightclubs, but I read about this ahead of time and brought earplugs, so no problem! There are also many birds that will "sing" you to sleep and wake you in the morning. The native plants on the grounds are beautiful and very well cared for. Close to many restaurants and shopping. We had no problem getting picked up for our tour to Chichenitza and there was free parking out front, in case you rent a car. The restaurant "Potheads" is located in the front before you walk through the reception area. We enjoyed morning coffee there and fresh smoothies. I would highly recommend Huaya Camp if you are looking for an alternative to the more traditional hotel experience and like to be surrounded by nature.

Our yurt stay in Tulum was an enchanting escape into nature's embrace. Nestled amidst the lush jungle surroundings, the yurt provided a cozy and intimate retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The rustic charm of the accommodation blended seamlessly with modern comforts, offering a unique glamping experience. Waking up to the gentle sounds of nature and the warm sunlight filtering through the canopy was truly magical. The attentive hosts ensured our stay was unforgettable, catering to our every need with gracious hospitality. From stargazing by the bonfire to exploring the nearby cenotes, every moment in the yurt was pure bliss.

A great place to stay. We stayed for three nights, with our son of 2 years old. Fantastic glamping tents, which are pretty large for a 4 person family. Very nice feature is the outdoor shower, with good hot water and good volume (this isn't a guarantee throughout Mexico/ Yucatan).

Very nice and helpful personal. Clean rooms/tents. Bed was comfortable. We stayed in one of the first tents that are close to the pool but also close to the loud main street. Moreover there is a food court nearby where you can enjoy live music until 2 a.m., so you need earplugs if you have a light sleep. The coconut shower was a simple camping shower without any coconut or whatever, it does not really matter but i just want to mention it because it was praised by other comments. The price to rent bikes seems a bit overpriced, we payed less in other hotels (in Tulum). The location is like 10 min walk to the Center. There are some restaurants and cafes nearby and it is a 20 min bike ride to the beach (best one is paradies beach). Overall we enjoyed our stay (2 nights) for the price.

Amazing magical place, feels welcoming, one with nature and comfortable all at once. The shower, bed, pool and environment were great. Tent was lovley, boho vibes and spacious, my only letdowns was the sewerage smell which burst in a few times and a stronger air conditioner would be great. Other than that, I’d recommend this stay to anyone!

There's nothing wrong with Huaya, just can't quite give them five stars. Staff are friendly but be aware, their English isn't great and they much prefer to speak Spanish. This is by no means a criticism, it's a Spanish speaking country but being armed with some basic Spanish yourself is a plus. WiFi worked great apart from the odd dip. The pool is small but there's plenty of space to relax around it. The Potheads restaurant is also a popular hang out and is on site. There's a yoga studio and massages offered on site also. There are rental bikes but there were none available when we stayed. They're also slightly pricey at $200 which we found odd, thought there might be a discount for guests. The vibe on the site is peaceful but it's very close to the road and it's noisy, all night and all day. You can also hear thumping music from the nearby clubs which may affect your sleep. Don't expect a complete escape from noise. The terraces outside the tents could be a little more tranquil, private and comfortable. The beds themselves were comfortable and spacious. The AC is a great addition and the outdoor private showers is a nice way to refresh oneself after a hot day. There is hot water but it's more lukewarm. This was fine for us. You have to pay a $3000 deposit for the key to the safe but you get that back. There's a bank opposite to withdraw money. Location is okay, a ten minute walk from the main bus station and very close to some awesome eating and drinking spots. Overall value for money lacking a little but it was high season prices. Like I said, absolutely nothing wrong with the place at all, just don't expect luxury or the finishing touches one might expect, even for a glamping hotel. I would still recommend staying here if this is your thing and the caveats above aren't a deal-breaker for you.
